It’s so easy in life for us to receive blessings, many of them almost uncounted, and have things happen in our lives

that can help change our lives, improve our lives, and bring the Spirit into our lives.

But we sometimes take them for granted.

How grateful we should be for all have been brought into our hearts and souls.

I would remind all of you that if we’re ever going to show gratitude properly to our Heavenly Father, we should do

it

with all of our heart, might, mind, and strength—because it was He who gave us life and breath"

Stephan and Brianna came into Boston for a visit! It was wonderful to see the sisters together. Brianna doesn't treat Meghan as "sick", she just says, "Move over, we are sharing the bed, look what I have to show/tell you........." Then we hear giggles and plotting and laughing. It's so nice to be treated the same way as at home: Stephan and I are on the outside of this little club.
We took Meghan for a drive around Cambridge to see Harvard University. She had enough energy to go around a few stores in her wheelchair. We had a little challenge trying to find a restaurant where the wheelchair could go but we finally settled on Chipotle, a Mexican restaurant. It was wonderful to be almost all together as a family. Cameron is in New Orleans building houses for Habitat For Humanity. We miss him but his Spring Break is being well spent.
After dinner, Meghan asked if we could go back to Spaulding to play "Phase 10" as a family. We have always been a game-playing family and there is a plethora of unique games that people have donated.
In therapy, earlier today, Anne (Meghan's Occupational Therapist) took Meghan to the swing room. Here Meghan is balancing on the "horse swing". Anne moves the swing in all directions while Meghan has to keep her body stabilized at all times.
While Anne sets up "The Magic Carpet," Meghan takes a break. Meghan chooses to sit in partial Lotus pose. I keep telling her that one day soon, we will be doing yoga side by side!
"The Magic Carpet" is another great tool for stability. This might look easy but notice that the fingers on Meghan's left hand don't grip the rope--that makes this tool much more challenging as Anne moves it in all directions.
Next Meghan has to throw balls into the can, with each hand, while trying to keep "The Magic Carpet" from swaying. (Brianna took this shot and she's mighty proud of the ball in mid-air)
