It’s so easy in life for us to receive blessings, many of them almost uncounted, and have things happen in our lives

that can help change our lives, improve our lives, and bring the Spirit into our lives.

But we sometimes take them for granted.

How grateful we should be for all have been brought into our hearts and souls.

I would remind all of you that if we’re ever going to show gratitude properly to our Heavenly Father, we should do

it

with all of our heart, might, mind, and strength—because it was He who gave us life and breath"

"I didn't break out, they gave me a day pass!"

A young man named Patrick, a patient here at Spaulding, wrote this poem before he was discharged. It really touched Meghan and me because we share Patrick's feelings. Most of the pediatrics here have been disabled by something traumatic, and their lives changed over night. Therefore they have a deep appreciation for what they have lost, and for each step in the direction of healing.
We were able to take Meghan out for the afternoon. We went to Quincy Market where we found fabulous street performers. This performer was intriguing and daring as he balanced 15 feet in the air while juggling sharp knives.
Brianna, who only shops on days that end in "Y", found a T-shirt that made us all laugh. Of course, we are too cheap to actually purchase it, so a photo needs to suffice!

Meghan's one wish: Go to Little Italy for Gelato!

This year we were blessed with peanut butter bisquits and the all time favorite yogurt coated "GO SABRES" cookie shaped like a dog bone. Penny likes the little PB bones and Bandit's fav is the yogurt on the Sabres cookie!!
Have a blessed Easter being together !!
